SENDAI -Towards a Disaster-Resilient and Environmentally-Friendly City

The Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction （Sendai Edition)

The City of Sendai and the International Research Institute of Disaster Science, Tohoku University, as the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction approaches the midpoint, have worked on an interim evaluation of the progress of "Priorities for Action" and "Global targets" as the site of adoption, and announced the results in March 2023.
The results of this effort, which is the first of its kind in the world for a local government, including the evaluation methodology, will be widely disseminated both domestically and internationally.
