SFVC（Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitment）
The City of Sendai actively utilizes the Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) platform, operated by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), to share our initiatives with the world.
SFVC is an online platform that allows multi-stakeholder initiatives based on the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 to be showcased globally, helping promote the Framework from the grassroots level.
The City of Sendai has registered multiple initiatives on the platform, including the Sendai Framework Seminar, the Sendai Symposium for Disaster Risk Reduction and the Future, the Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework, and training programs aimed at developing women leaders in disaster risk reduction.
