7. Outcome Summary

Presentations and exhibitions on the activities and experiences were conducted by ever-larger numbers of the younger generation including elementary school, junior high school, high school and university students.
Specific efforts were introduced and discussed under the various themes such as local disaster prevention, learning outcomes of “Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction”, and participation of women and disabled people.
Through a stage show and experience-based program using cardboard, participants gave impressions such as “We came to feel familiar about disaster prevention.”
We had a lot of visitors from wide range of generations and various professions fields. The forum was acclaimed by international organizations and experts.
